As of July 2021, MAS became an official UCAS registered centre. The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) is a UK-based organisation whose main role is to operate the application process for British universities.

As of Nov 2021, Oxford International AQA Examinations Approval has been given for Merchiston Academy, Songshan Lake to be established as an Oxford International AQA approved centre,  Centre number 96278.

As of July 2021, Pearson granted MAS authorization to deliver Pearson Edexcel qualifications, Centre Number: 94928.

As of July 2021, MAS became an official CEMC registered centre. Mathematics / Computing \Chemistry Contest Centre, Faculty of Science and the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) University of Waterloo. The CEMC has become Canada's largest and most recognized outreach organization for promoting and creating activities and materials in mathematics and computer science. The CEMC was founded in 1995 with origins dating back to the 1960s.
